PotPlayer 是 KMPlayer 的原制作者姜龙喜（韩国）进入 Daum 公司后的新一代网络播放器。PotPlayer 的优势在于强大的内置解码器；而 KMPlayer 的优势在于强大的定制能力和个性化功能。PotPlayer 使用 VC++ 编写， KMPlayer 为 Delphi 编写。PotPlayer 是 Daum 公司的一款网络播放器，有自己的独立著作权，并非由姜龙喜先生原创，目前由 KMPlayer 的原始作者姜龙喜进行后续开发。目前(1428以后版本)的 KMPlayer 由 PandoraTV 团队负责集体开发。应 PandoraTV 的要求，PotPlayer 不会加入在 KMPlayer 中一些受欢迎功能，但作者答应加入一些近似的功能。

这个版本显示lrc歌词有问题. [00:00.29]识别为[00:02.900], 歌词是国际通用的lrc格式, 没有设置offset.

唯一不好的地方就是作者更改了很多默认设置，比如双击暂停改成单击暂停；初始尺寸由默认改为自定义的小尺寸；打开新的文件原本是打开新的播放进程，改为了替换掉当前进程等等。做绿色版尽量默认设置就行了，除非是关闭自动更新这种必要的设置，为什么要多更改这么多直接影响使用习惯的设置？我觉得遮阳把非常个性化的使用习惯设置捆绑进去实在有点自以为是了。

不好用，以前初始界面双击自动播放上次的视频，现在双击直接打开C盘的视频文件夹，谁会把视频放C盘啊！找文件还得半天，不建议更新
